Ferelden has began enforcing the borders against Orlais. Meanwhile Viscount Hawke has regained his power in Kirkwall and began an alliance with Starkhaven to build an army, Though few people know the real Reason.
With the Inquisitor as the Right hand of the Divine the Military Arm of the Inquisition has taken over the place of the Templars as her Honour Guard and Guarding the Chantry and a new military force.
Skyhold has become the new Fortress for law and Order of the Chantry. The Home of the Herald of Andraste, The Right hand of the Divine. The Right hand has become a the patron of High Justice in some of Thedas.
The Circle has been established in Southern Theads guarded by the New Order of Templars with direct oversight from both the Divine and the Right hand of the Divine. The Mages have been given new freedoms never been afforded before. They may leave to visit family as long as they have a clean record and pass tests and report to a Templar or are accompanied by one.
In Ferelden, King Alistair and Queen Anora are marking fourteen years since their rule had began and the Hero of Ferelden sacrificed herself for the greater good of ending the Blight.
In Orlais, Emperor Gaspard has died from a sickness that has ailed him for a year. Leaving behind two children. His First Born a Mage Girl and a Non-Mage Boy. By new chantry law Mages may inherit lawfully. But Alaric has defied the Chantry law and usurped leadership for himself. This has split some of the Noble Families and the Chantry against the Orlesian Army and most of the Noble Families support for Prince Alaric. But with the Templars taking the side of Princess Guinevere and the threat of war.
