Augustine

Augustine is arrogant, quick to anger and quick to react though he has a firm belief in what he wants and never gives up on his dreams and is a driven man to get what he needs. He is a natural leader and politician and never gives away too much or too little. He has a firm belief that the Archon should not be just a face of the Empire but a Strong voice that does what is best and makes the hard decisions when they are needed to be made. He tested his theroy of one strong Ruler in Seheron when he managed to convince all of the Magisters all there to listen to him and it worked well rather than all the Magisters fighting over what they should do. He is a skilled blood Mage able to use someone's own blood and boil it as long as they have a cut or a bruise but he does not rely on Blood Magic as his first response. He knows that it affects him when he uses the forbidden magic. He has used his tile as Imperator (Hero of the Imperium) to propel himself into power and bought up several major property's within Tevinter. He only has one remaining close family member and that is his Sister who he has a close relationship with and refuses to sell off to some Magister despite the power he could bring. He sometimes can show a morbid sense of humor.

Augustine was born as the second son of the Esteemed Prima family of the Altus class. The First and only son before his mother and father were assassinated by two unknown magister's slaves. He was bought up by another Altus class Magister named Marrax Vilentio and taught the 'forbidden' art of Blood Magic. Because of his place as a blood mage he lost most of his contact with the fade and uses his own blood as a focus for his magic. Under tutorship of Marrax he became very powerful Blood mage and a Capable Commander and proficient commander.



He spent most of his teenage years as a Second to Marrax right up until he was posted as a Prefect away from Magister Vilentio in Seheron and that is where he shined as a Commander and a Leader of men. When his Legate was wounded in battle he broke the rank structure and took command of the Legion over several Prefects and took command of the Legion against a Qunari War Party. Under his leadership he managed to win the battle but not without loss of life.



But when they returned to the Imperial Port he took command of another Three Legions by convincing Three Magisters to hand over command of their Legions and showed the strength of what one man in command could do when he killed a Kithshok but he was quickly replaced not long after but it was the fearlessness that Augustine showed as one strong ruler that counted. Many knew with in days that one man, A Dictator as some called him in those hours had defeated a Kithshok and a whole Qunari Army.



When Augustine returned with his new Revolutionary Ideals the Archon showered him with Titles and lands in hope that he would not use his fame for a Rebellion but the plans are laid and the Nobles of Tevinter must choose A New Tevinter or an Old one that may burn.
